The PS Clubsport is based on our Classic lightweight but developed specifically for trackday and fast road use.
Created from the ethos `less is more` the PS Clubsport capitalises on weight reduction combined with uprated mechanical components to provide a formidable track day weapon capable of showing a clean pair of heals to more modern machinery. An added bonus of its low weight is light use of tyres, brakes and mechanical components throughout the season making it very cost effective to run.
Fully road legal the PS Clubsport is rebuilt with a galvanised body, stripped of all its soundproofing and removal of rain channels to reduce drag and increase top speed, seam welded to increase shell stiffness*, then fitted with ultra light polycarbonate panels and perspex windows. It is fitted with the same durable 3.0, 3.2 or 3.4 litre engines and drive train as the classic lightweight, guaranteeing dependable high performance. A limited slip differential and road/ circuit tyres are fitted as standard ensuring fantastic turn in and traction even on the tightest corners, whilst the uprated suspension and powerful cross drilled brakes offer sensational handling and stopping power. * removal of rain channels and seam welding optional.
The 3.0 lightened and balanced engine provides an impressive 236BHP, plus the much coveted throttle response of the early cars when fitted with our trackday friendly tailor made exhaust system.
The 3.2 and 3.4 engines when fitted with revised mapping and our performance exhaust system produce (240 BHP 3.2 litre) (260 BHP 3.4 litre) with increased torque to give greater in gear flexibility combined with strong performance.
As with the exterior the PS Clubsport interior is purely functional, clearly marked dials, a momo prototipo 3 spoke steering wheel, bucket seats with full harness belts, perfectly spaced pedals, an integrated roll cage (adding chassis stiffness in addition to occupant safety)and lightweight trim are all that's needed for the ultimate driving experience.
